Anti Covid-19 measures

Grand Hotel Trento can rely on large common areas and high cleaning standards, two of its strong points that, over the years, have always allowed guests to enjoy a pleasant and relaxing stay in a totally safe and comfortable environment.

Our guests’ well-being has always been our priority and that’s why, in the current emergency situation, we have focused our attention on it even more, providing us with a specific and detailed protocol, shared with and observed by the whole staff, in order to guarantee the greatest safety without renouncing all the comforts.

 

Sense of responsibility and our usual friendliness will be the keywords of our hospitality, together with a strict compliance with the rules – in particular those of social distancing – that will not affect your stay and the warm sense of intimacy characterizing our service.

According to our safety protocol, we will guarantee:

– respect for physical distancing measures;

– use of the appropriate PPE (personal protection equipment):

– constant availability of automatic hand sanitizer dispensers in common areas;

– regular sanitation and disinfection of rooms and common areas;

– serving permit of food and beverage according to the current legislation.

The above-mentioned list of precautionary containment measures of the Covid-19 will be constantly updated in order to align ourselves with the instructions provided by the WHO and by our national Government.

 

Below, a detailed list of the essential protective measures implemented by our Hotel.

Room cleaning and disinfection

We guarantee an appropriate and constantly up-to-date training of our cleaning staff on both the standards and the additional hygiene measures required by the current legislation:

  • Full sanitation of each room before the arrival of guests with professional certified cleaning products with antibacterial and antiviral effect (for example, the well-known sanitizer Septogard Ap Plus);
  • Regular professional ozone sanitation of all rooms;
  • Daily air exchange guaranteed through natural ventilation;
  • Frequent professional cleaning and maintenance of the air-conditioning systems filters;
  • Regular use of the required PPE (masks and gloves) by the cleaning staff during the service.
  • A professional washing system in accordance to the UNI EN 14065:2016 certification is applied to the Hotel’s laundry, providing thermo-disinfection at high temperatures, extended centrifugal action, disinfection with sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide followed by hot water rinse with the addition of an extra sanitising product. Ironing is done at a 240° temperature in order to reinforce the antibacterial and antiviral action.

Common areas cleaning and sanitation

  • Daily air exchange guaranteed through natural ventilation;
  • Recurrent disinfection of the common areas with professional certified cleaning products with antibacterial and antiviral effect, with particular attention to the possible critical parts (such as handles, window sills, lift panels, handrails and so on) which are sanitised at least 3 times a day;
  • Placement of automatic hand sanitizer dispensers in all the common areas;
  • New structural organization of the common areas allowing guests to always respect the required physical distance of 1 mt. from one another.

Kitchen cleaning and disinfection

  • Regular cleaning with professional certified cleaning products with antibacterial and antiviral effect;
  • Regular use of the required PPE (masks and gloves);
  • Food handling and preparation of dishes in strict compliance with the hygiene guidelines provided by the HACCP System.

Fitness Room

  • Availability of automatic hand and equipment sanitizer dispensers;
  • The room can be use by a maximum of 2 people at a time, in order to guarantee freedom of movement and comfort in total safety.
